COOKING A resistance

I think storytelling is essential in all sorts of contexts. We live by stories, and the ways we narrativise our experience of the world matter.

The stories we want to tell.

The journal Cooking A Resistance is our newest addition following our direction of working. In the quest to tell our own stories and tell ourselves the stories that build us, we need to write. Cooking A Resistance is a serial publication aimed to document our activities based on the thematic issues we interrogate and act on as a plat-form for discourse and reflection. This first issue of Cooking A Resistance introduces the reader to our focus and hopes, collaborative work and goals through the projects we have produced in the last three years. In the same way that one assembles ingredients to make a stew, Cooking A Resistance is a dialogue in book form—it discusses discourse and its relation to art history, political and social issues with their histories and legacies, as well as our approach of evoking indigenous methodology as our resistance..
